The legendary rock band Bon Jovi are from Sayreville, NJ and the band was formed in 1983. The band's line-up consists of lead singer Jon Bon Jovi, guitarist Richie Sambora, keyboardist David Bryan, bassists Alec John Such and Hugh McDonald, and drummer Tico Torres. Bon Jovi's line-up has remained static during their 26-years of playing music together, with the exception of the departure of Alec John Such in 1994, who was eventually replaced by Hugh McDonald. Bon Jovi have become immortalized for a variety of rock anthems and had achieved international fame with the 1986 release of their third album Slippery When Wet. In 2009, Bon Jovi released their eleventh studio album, 'The Circle'. This album debuted at number one on the Billboard Top 200, selling more than 150,000 copies in the first week of its release. Bon Jovi's The Circle takes us back to the band's rock n' roll roots after their prior Nashville influenced album, 'Lost Highway'. At the end of 2009, Billboard's top 25 ranked Bon Jovi number nine among touring artists of the decade after grossing about 420 million dollars in tickets sales from 249 shows, of which 244 were completely sold out shows. Touring begins again for the band in February of 2010 as they embark on The Circle tour. Consisting of 135 shows in thirty countries, this will be their largest tour since the Jersey Syndicate tour in the late 1980s.
